Co-Founder and CEO
Dr. Behnood Gholami is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Autonomous Healthcare. He served as the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Autonomous Healthcare from 2013-2015.
Dr. Gholami’s work in developing smart algorithms to address current challenges in critical care has appeared extensively in the literature including a feature article in the IEEE Spectrum. He has served as the principal investigator on numerous grants and contracts sponsored by the US Army, Defense Health Agency, National Science Foundation, and National Institutes of Health.
Dr. Gholami was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School, Brigham and Women's Hospital and Associated Researcher at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard from 2011-2012. Prior to Harvard, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech. Dr. Gholami received the PhD degree in aerospace engineering from Georgia Tech in 2010, where his doctoral dissertation focused on the problem of closed-loop control of cardiopulmonary management and intensive care unit sedation. Dr. Gholami completed a Graduate Certificate Program in Engineering Entrepreneurship at the College of Management, Georgia Tech in 2010.
